How to plan your follow-up dates
- Enter the first-contact date. This is the day of the first call, enquiry or site visit. It defaults to today.
- Pick a cadence. Use Hot lead for buyers ready to decide, Standard for most enquiries, Cold nurture for leads who said "later", or type your own day gaps such as 2, 5, 10, 21.
- Skip your off days. Tick Sunday and, if needed, Saturday. Any date that falls on those days moves to the next working day, and each follow-up always stays after the one before it.
- Save the plan. Copy the schedule as text, or download the .ics file and open it to add every follow-up to Google Calendar, Outlook or your phone's calendar in one go.
The presets are common starting points, not rules. Adjust the gaps to your product, your buyers and how quickly they usually decide.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is a good follow-up cadence for sales leads?
A common pattern is to follow up quickly at first and then space contacts out. This planner includes three presets: Hot lead (days 1, 2, 4, 7 and 14), Standard (days 1, 3, 7, 14 and 30) and Cold nurture (days 7, 14, 30 and 60). Treat them as starting points and adjust the gaps to how quickly your buyers usually decide.
How are the follow-up days counted?
Each number is the count of calendar days after the first-contact date. Day 1 is the next day, so a first call on Thursday with a Day 1 follow-up gives Friday.
What happens when a follow-up falls on a Sunday or Saturday?
If you tick Skip Sundays or Skip Saturdays, any follow-up that lands on that day moves to the next working day. Moved dates are marked in the table. Each follow-up also stays after the previous one, so two follow-ups never land on the same day.
Can I set my own follow-up days?
Yes. Choose Custom, or simply edit the days box, and type the gaps you want separated by commas, for example 2, 5, 10, 21. You can use up to 20 follow-ups between 1 and 365 days.
How do I add the follow-ups to Google Calendar or Outlook?
Click Download calendar (.ics) and open the file. Google Calendar (Settings > Import), Outlook and most phone calendars can import .ics files and add every follow-up at once. With a reminder time, each follow-up is a 15-minute event with an alert 15 minutes before; clear the time to get all-day entries.
Does this tool store or upload my lead details?
No. The dates, the schedule text and the calendar file are created by JavaScript in your browser. The lead name and dates you enter are not sent to KroLead or saved by this page.
Does the planner know about Indian public holidays?
No. It only skips the weekdays you tick. If a follow-up lands on a festival or public holiday, move that one by hand in your calendar after importing.
